Our humble Guru and the founder of SSKT is a soul whose journey was touched by divinity from a very young age. From as early as five years old, the whispers of the Divine could already be felt around him. Even as a child, he was instinctively drawn to sacred spaces, quietly performing his own “unknown rituals” at a small prayer place in his childhood home in KZN—guided not by instruction, but by an inner calling. From those early years, his heart was naturally drawn toward the rituals, pūjās, and practices of Sanātana Dharma. What began as innocent devotion soon revealed itself as a divine purpose unfolding.

As he grew, a profound calling to serve the Divine took root, and through this calling, a powerful and intimate connection was formed with the Divine Mother, Mā Kali. Amid the pressures and challenges of worldly life, Guruji made the courageous choice to embrace his spiritual gift. Rather than turning away from this calling, he stepped forward—choosing a life of service, compassion, and spiritual responsibility, with the desire to uplift and guide others. At the tender age of ten, Guruji formally began his spiritual education under his first Guru. For seven formative years, he was immersed in the foundations of Sanātana Dharma, learning the sacred significance of prayers, rituals, and observances practiced within the North Indian tradition. These years laid a strong spiritual foundation, rooted in discipline, devotion, and respect for lineage.

Following the passing of his childhood Guru, divine grace once again guided Guruji to his next Gurukkal, under whom his spiritual journey expanded even further. For another five years, his knowledge was deepened through the teachings of South Indian festivals, customs, and traditions. During this time, the sacred practices of mantra and pūjā were firmly instilled, shaping him into a well-rounded and devoted spiritual guide. Even while still undergoing his training, Guruji felt the growing need within the community for a spiritual sanctuary. Answering this call, he established the temple in 2014—driven not by ambition, but by seva and compassion. With the blessings of Mā Kali and the guidance of his Gurus, he stepped fully into his role as a servant of the Divine.

Since then, Guruji has continued to serve the community with unwavering dedication, humility, and devotion. His life stands as a living testament to faith, surrender, and divine purpose—guiding souls, preserving Dharma, and ensuring that the sacred light of Sanātana Dharma continues to shine for generations to come.
